SSC Recruitment of Sub Inspectors in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) 2024- 4187 Vacancies, Apply Online

The Staff selection Commission (SSC) has released a notification for open competitive examination for the recruitment of Sub Inspectors in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs). SSC will recruit 4187 vacancies which will be for open as well as candidates. The last date of application is 28.03.2024 and eligible candidates may apply through online mode only.

Post Details:

  • Sub-Inspector (GD) in CAPFs: Pay scale Rs: 35,400-Rs. 112400/- and classified as Group ‘B’(Non-Gazette), Non-Ministerial.
  • Sub-Inspector (Executive)- (Male/Female) in Delhi Police: Pay scale Rs: 35,400-Rs. 112400/- and classified as Group-‘C’.

Nationality/Citizenship: A candidate must be either

3.1. A citizen of India, or

3.2. a subject of Nepal, or

3.3. a subject of Bhutan

3.4. For Point 3.2 and 3.3 a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India and the offer of appointment will be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to him by the Government of India.)

Eligibility Criteria

4.1 Age Limits:

Candidates age between 20 to 25 years; i.e. Candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1999 and not later than 01.08.2004 to be eligible to apply.

4.2. Age Relaxation:

Permissible relaxations in upper age limit for different categories are as under:

SC/ ST: 5 years

OBC: 3 years

Ex-Servicemen: 3 years

4.3. Educational Qualification:

Educational Qualification for all posts is Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or equivalent. The candidates who have appeared in their Bachelor’s degree or equivalent examination can also apply; however they must possess Essential Qualification on or before the cutoff date; i.e., 01.08.2024.

4.4. For the post of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police for Male candidates only: Male candidates must possess a valid Driving License for LMV (Motorcycle and Car) on the date fixed for Physical Endurance and Measurement Tests (PE&MT) to be eligible for the post of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police. The male candidates who do not have a Valid Driving License for LMV (Motorcycle and Car) are eligible for the post of Sub Inspector in CAPFs only.

5. Make payment of application fee as per your category andsubmit the form.

6. At the end, take a printout of the application form .

5.3. Payment Method:

Fee can be paid only through online payment modes, UPI, Net Banking, or by using Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, or RuPay Credit or Debit card. Online fee can be paid by the candidates up to 29.03.2024. (2300 Hrs).

5.4. Application correction is allowed from 30.03.2024 to 31.03.2024 (2300 hours)]

5.5. The application correction charges of Rs. 200/- for making correction and re-submitting modified/corrected application for the first time and Rs. 500/- for making correction and re-submitting modified/ corrected application for the second time. The correction charges shall be equally payable by all candidates irrespective of their gender/ category.

6.1. Scheme of Examination:

  1. The examination will consist of Paper-I & Paper-II
  2. Physical Standard Test (PST)/Physical Endurance Test (PET)
  3. Detailed Medical Examination (DME)
  4. All these stages of the examination are mandatory.
  5. Type of Examination: Online (Computer Based)
  6. Negative Marking: 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
