Sunil Kamble, director of IMD in Mumbai, mentioned that the monsoon trough is not intense enough to cause heavy rainfall in Mumbai. Nevertheless, southwesterly and westerly winds will continue to blow, leading to light to moderate rainfall in the city.
The next five days will see varying degrees of rain and thunderstorms across many regions in India. Residents in affected areas should stay updated with the latest weather information and take necessary precautions to ensure their safety. The IMD’s forecasts are vital for planning and preparedness, helping to mitigate the impact of severe weather conditions.
